The Velotric Nomad 2 is an excellent fat tire e-bike, perfect for paved roads, off-road trails, and beach rides!

The Velotric Nomad 2 isn’t just about SensorSwap, comfort, and versatility—it’s the perfect companion for any adventure.

I accelerated the bike up to 20 MPH and hit the brake, the brake response was very fast. I can tell you this gear shifting is so smooth that I don't hear any clunking at all.

We liked the bike’s highly responsive torque sensor, which is paired with its 750W rear hub motor. With the ability to vary the motor output based on how hard you pedal, the Nomad 2 feels intuitive and natural.

3 Nomads
My wife and I were looking at e-bikes and it became apparent that Velotric had a great product at a good value. We had test ridden the Discover 2, but then we had a chance to ride a Nomad 2 and bought 3 the week they came out to include one for our older son (and a fold lite for the younger).
It’s only been a few weeks and the weather has been lousy, but I’m almost up to 100 miles! These bikes have allowed us to go for family bike rides long enough to justify packing them up to take them somewhere. Before we got the Nomads, it was never worth packing them up for a 20-30 minute ride. Now we can go for an hour and a half making the loading and unloading time totally worth it! At 330lbs and trying to get back into shape, I’m very satisfied with the soft seat and suspension seat post which easily holds my weight after adjusting it. The 21 miles per charge that I get on rail trails is reasonable at my weight and higher assist level.

Two-Bikes
I have been researching e-bikes for over a year. It’s a big purchase and relatively new category. With that said my wife and I agreed to purchase 2 Nomad 2’s, a large and a regular size. I am 6’4” 350 and my wife is beautiful. The Nomad 2 is a very comfortable ride for myself and has plenty of power. We have been on several rides and utilize a kid trailer for our 2 toddlers.
My wife was sold on the bikes after her “test ride” the day they arrived. Since then she has grown to love the e-bike experience even more.
So far we have just done trips with the kids around the neighborhood (lots of hills) and look forward to riding the bikes this summer with all of our planned camping trips.
Overall, we haven’t found a thing we don’t like.
