Great for senior riders
This bike let's me explore, even as I enter the ranks of senior citizenship. No worries about pedaling out too far to be exhausted getting back. I can go further and faster to see much more than I could on a regular bike.
The fold feature lets me put two (his and hers) bikes in the back of my Chevy Trailblazer (laying flat just right with the back seats down), obviating the need for a hitch and bike rack. The Step-through feature is kind to my aging muscles.
We added a child seat to let our grand daughter come ride with us.
Most of all, it's FUN!
Consideration: the bike is 63 pounds, so lifting the folded bike into the car might be a challenge. (She helps me if I need some.)

Fold 1 is a dream e-bike
I am so happy that I waited almost a year to obtain my first e-bike. The Fold 1 is outstanding in so many ways. Firstly, the great care that Velotric puts into all of their products is evident in even this “budget folder.” The paint is unmatched by any blue I’ve ever seen on a bike. The motor is beautifully balanced with power and conservation. The comfort is unreal! I did have an issue with my saddle, but Velotric’s top-notch custom service took care of it in less than 24 hours.
The waterproof elements of the bike and the battery are very important to me, as I live on the coast and corrosion is easy to come by. Rinsing her off a couple of times a week is all it takes, along with oiling the chain and derailleur, to keep this bike in top condition.
The range is very good, but if you’re as avid a daily rider as I am, it’s worth it to get an extra battery.
She’s a looker and a mover and a shaker with very nice components….Totally recommend one!
