Velopower H‑Series Drive System

The Velopower H-Series Drive Systems are proprietary drive systems custom made for maximum range and torque from a high-performance motor, battery and controller. The H-Series drive system was designed for maximum power and versatility for a wide range of use cases.

Currently the H-Series Drive System comes in two configurations: Velopower H50 and Velopower H75.

Motor

Velopower H50 uses a high-torque, brushless hub motor with 500W nominal (900W peak) power and 65Nm of torque. It is suitable for a wide range of uses, from recreational to workout rides and is energy-efficient, balancing power and extended range.
Velopower H75 uses a high-torque, brushless hub motor with 750W nominal (1200W peak) power and 75Nm of torque. Although it is also suitable for a wide range of activities, the H75 motor is better adapted for activities which calls for more power such as going off-road, uphill, or hauling heavier loads.
Velopower H50 uses a high-torque, brushless hub motor with 500W nominal (900W peak) power and 65Nm of torque. It is suitable for a wide range of uses, from recreational to workout rides and is energy-efficient, balancing power and extended range.

Battery

The H-Series batteries are designed with safety, reliability and aesthetics in mind. All H-Series batteries are UL 2271 Recognized, uses 21700 LG cells, are removable for convenient charging and snaps into the frame for a seamless look.

Velotric’s drive systems use a custom BMS (battery management system) which monitors the voltage to ensure a stable charge and has temperature detection to prevent the battery from overheating.

Display

The H-Series Drive System feature a 3.5” LCD display which is adjustable to multiple angles, offering great visibility in all weather conditions. It also features a USB charging port to help charge mobile devices on the go.

It displays the operational parameters of the system, such as battery level and speed, and also allows users to input adjustments, such as changing the assist mode and controlling the power switch.

System Characteristics

The H-Series drive system can be engaged via a throttle or cadence sensor pedal assist that have a top speed of 20 MPH (default; can be unlocked up to 25 MPH).

All H-Series Velotric e-bikes have a 5-Level Speed Assist for throttle-only or pedal-assist modes.

Riders can activate Walk Mode by holding the “-” button on the remote to walk with their bike at 2.9 MPH.
